I used these to try and fix a split in the bottom of a hard plastic wheelbarrow. It did not work, so sorry to say I would not buy again.

I thought the stick would be sticky, and was worried I'd get stuck
But the stick was firm but gooey, my hands kept free from muck.
I heated it and squelched it, and squirmed it in to shape
I moulded my rod of Fixit, forgetting glue or tape.

So simple to use and the end result is perfect. I made stoppers on our roller blinds and they work.

The fixits do exactly what they claim. Soften easily in hot water, easy to mould into place, and hard as nails once set. I'm very impressed. I'll be buying these as gifts for people in the future.

I like the product and was waiting for them to come back into stock. Was disappointed with the new price point.

This product is absolutely easy to use, and the fact that it is reusable as well as being toxin free, it means that you can use it, without any harm to yourself or the environment, which is a big plus.

Would love to say Fixits work on everything but it just doesn't !!!

Useful for light repairs

I haven’t actually used he fixit sticks to mend anything yet but I’m sure they will do a great job. I bought extra jute bags and made up smaller sets from the 24 fixits +jute bag. They made several stocking fillers family and secret Santa gifts for friends.

I used Fixits to fix the clamp on my coffee tin (the plastic part had broken off) and it works great and kept me from having to buy a new one. I also fixed a selfie-stick that had lost the inner pad and couldn't hold a phone properly anymore. Don't forget to tell people about hairdryers for reheating, I wasn't sure how to finish mine at first, and had to research to find this tip. And I love that it's compostable—and curious to try it, but don't want to waste my fixits! My only real complaint is that Spanish customs charged me a fortune to get it into the country. Do you have a European supplier? If you do, I'll definitely buy more.

Clever stuff.. easy to use and repair is holding so far

Well a couple of bald men now have a glorious head of orange hair thanks to fixits.
The reusable tape is good too but could do with some more guidance on use. It all arrived without any supporting paperwork and I can’t find instructions for reuse on the website.

Bought a small pack to see how effective it is..managed a small repair on a plastic handle and happy with the results..so easy to use ansd a little goes a long way..love the fact that you can reuse the bit you didn’t have to use, just add it back to the pack.

I was a bit sceptical about the claims made but after receiving my first stick I’m converted. I had a cover on my front door key as I have two very similar keys on one keyring & can almost guarantee I will pick the wrong one without a cover. The cover has recently broken so I am back to standing in the rain trying to get into my house! I took the initial from the old cover & made a new one from the Fixit stick & it has done the trick & seems much more robust than the old cover. I’d buy more 😊

This is a potentially very useful product, I have used it for a couple of small fixes, and I'm sure more uses will become apparent in time.. However, I think the price is on the high side, and at a minimum of £5, a disincentive to purchase to put in a draw "just in case".
