When you fix something - like a broken toy truck, or a lipstick stick, or an outdoor tap - it feels good.

It feels good to get up and move.

It feels good to improve things, your things!

It feels good to be positive and solution-oriented.

It feels good to use your amazing hands and brain on something that will make you and your loved ones happy.

It feels good to fix things.

This National Mental Health Awareness week, we know that fixing your things can't fix everything.

But we also know it feels good to fix, and feeling good is a start.

Fix well, friends; be excellent to yourself and cherish your brilliant folk.

This year the theme is plastic pollution and how to beat it with collective action. We asked FixIts founder, Chris Lefteri, for his thoughts on this important but complex issue.

Where would we be without it? So simple, so versatile, so boingy. Check out the inspiration below for fixing all kinds of things with a single round bloblet of FixIts.

Is there anything more civilised than the humble hook? Jacket on the floor? No thank you, I'II hang mine up. I'm civilised. When you think about it, hooks are amazing. We've been hanging things up for centuries.

And the great thing is, now you can make your own hooks, any time, anywhere. Just whip out some FixIts, pop the kettle on, and off you go. Hooks for holidays, hooks for home, hooks for the garden. See below for hookspiration.
