Very cool fixing tool

I used Fixits to fix the clamp on my coffee tin (the plastic part had broken off) and it works great and kept me from having to buy a new one. I also fixed a selfie-stick that had lost the inner pad and couldn't hold a phone properly anymore. Don't forget to tell people about hairdryers for reheating, I wasn't sure how to finish mine at first, and had to research to find this tip. And I love that it's compostable—and curious to try it, but don't want to waste my fixits! My only real complaint is that Spanish customs charged me a fortune to get it into the country. Do you have a European supplier? If you do, I'll definitely buy more.

What a great use for FixIts! We're in the process of making some new videos with tips and will include using a hair dryer to get a smooth finish and for removing FixIts. At the moment we don't have a European distributor but this is something we will try and set up. Thanks!

excellent results

Bought a small pack to see how effective it is..managed a small repair on a plastic handle and happy with the results..so easy to use ansd a little goes a long way..love the fact that you can reuse the bit you didn’t have to use, just add it back to the pack.

Okay

I bought some fixits and some tape. The tape was okay. It worked on one occasion, but on others the item soon came unstuck. Washing and reusing didn't work so well for me either.
I was expecting the Fixits to be soft and flexible like Sugru, but it's harder. I think it has its uses, and it much easier to use / reuse than Sugru. I just wish it was softer / more flexible.

Great idea, though!

Maybe choice of colour.

I’m an ardent fan of Fix It, and have found the sticks very handy. But I have been searching for a pack of just black sticks, but haven’t been able to find them.

Very impressed fixits customer

Used these to fix a ledge in our freezer that supports one of the drawers. The moulded plastic surface had split and partially come away from freezer wall, exposing the insulation underneath. Wasn't sure it would work but saw online that someone else had tried it in a similar situation and thought I'd give it a go. The fixit plastic gripped the exposed broken edge of freezer wall surprisingly well and I'm impressed by how strong the plastic is once cooled, even in quite thin quantities. Also easily (re)workable when heated exactly as stated on the website, with no impact on strength when heated and cooled repeatedly. Still have two sticks left, and happy to have them in the drawer for when something else breaks.
