"Waste not want not” is at the heart of FixIts as a fun whole approach to repairing your stuff. Our founder Chris has always believed in that, which is why we are now selling these imperfectly perfect sticks that are currently being wasted from our own production processes.

Here's how it works. When we mould a batch of our sticks, a certain amount of FixIts material is used to clean out the machine for the new colour. In technical language this is called “purging” (sounds serious, huh?). The sticks that result from purging have traditionally been considered waste but that’s the old way of thinking. They’re still useful! Perhaps even more so as these new colours give you even more choice when you’re fixing your things!

We sort and collect these sticks by hand, making each pack unique. That means when you buy a pack of these new perfectly imperfect fixing sticks, we can’t tell in advance what colours you will receive. So, even more perfectly imperfect, it’s a surprise!
